Original, compassionate and illuminated by humour, these stories by a prodigiously gifted new writer
dare to mine the fault-line between rage and love.
~ Maggie Gee, Maggie Gee, (Chair, The Royal Society of Literature, 2004-2008)
These narratives unfold before us with the deftness and assurance of the truly gifted writer.
A remarkable book.
~ Jacob Ross, FRSL
A srikingly fresh voice, sharp, shocking and original, a natural, gifted writer.

The Lighthouse Project
Three Stages in Learning to Fly on Cafe Irreal
Stinker and the Taff Vale Railroaders at BuzzWords
My first publication, so it is dear to my heart. As is the
underlying theme. I was given away for adoption at birth. Issues of identity and the
implications of displacement are very important to me.
The Saint and Sapphira at Absinthe Literary Review
A novel squeezed into a short story. Set in Tuscany, it follows the life of a girl who
never forms a solid relationship with a real man, but is fixated on St Peter.
Gas Gangrene at Eclectica
Dedicated to the young men who are buried at Tyn Cot cemetery, in what was Flanders.
One example of my 'flash' fiction writing. Written in about half an hour in an intense
flash writing session, and unedited apart from typos. It's an example of how powerful
voices and themes can appear in a creative buzz.
